Projects

Cheap Food, Healthy Body

Chores is a simple MEAN stack app I built a on weekend I should've spent doing household chores.
Chores taught me numerous skills such as:
ES6 Javascript, Angular 1.5 Components, Transpiling to ES5 with Babel, MongoDB, and Socketio.
Cheap Food, Healthy Body is a project inspired by the brilliant penny pinchers over at /r/eatcheapandhealthy.
Danny and I are building this Web-App to make it easier for the average person to find recipes that fit their budget and dietary restrictions, as well as save money doing it.
Jeff News was one of my first projects in AngularJS.
I used this project as an opportunity to try out Google's Angular Material, and Firebase.
I choose to use Firebase because it offers real-time database capability, without ever having to leave the front-end.
